100% Australian grown and made flour, stoneground from a special soft wheat variety. This is a fine, light flour with most of the bran sifted out. There is no bleaching, no further refinements and no additives.
As it has less protein and gluten than plain flour, it is not suitable for breads, but perfect for cakes, biscuits, pastries, muffins and pancakes!
Organic Unbleached White Cake Flour has a creamy colour and is more flavoursome than most commercially available cake flours. It is a light flour best suited for making delicate cakes, biscuits and pastries. Must be refrigerated or frozen to retain freshness. To substitute cake flour for general bakers flour use 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons of cake flour for every cup of bakers flour.
