Wild Yam naturally contains Diosgenin, a plant compound known for its role in supporting hormone health. Diosgenin influences the biochemical lipid pathways that contribute to the production of natural compounds, including cholesterol. Cholesterol is the starting point for all steroid hormones, including progesterone, estrogen, testosterone, and adrenal hormones, which play key roles in your body’s overall hormone balance. Our cream also contains Chaste Tree - traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to relieve menstrual pain and spasms, and help reduce the occurrence of menopausal symptoms.
