These organic quick oats are made from premium quality, wholegrain oats from Finland and are cut and rolled thinly to achieve a quicker cooking time. Organic quick oats are an ideally used to make a hot, creamy bowl of porridge in half the time! Oats are high in beta-glucan, a soluble fibre making them a nutritious, tasty start to the morning.
The harsh climate of cold winters and sunny summers with plenty of light and hardly any night makes the perfect conditions for growing Finland's world famous high quality oats. Quick oats are made from organic oat grain that have been cleaned, dehulled, steamed (stabilised) and rolled thinly to for quick cooking. These rolled oats are produced in a dedicated facility and are tested with a gluten content of less than 5ppm.
While these oats are considered low gluten (less than 5ppm) or 'uncontaminated' under European and USA regulations, the Australian Food Standards Code prohibits the use of a 'gluten-free' claim on oat containing products. Therefore, we must state that these oats may contain gluten and may not be suitable for those with coeliac disease.
